Vilja Holden, Professor of History at the University of Colorado, recently asked Ben Cardamone, a member of our team, to speak with her students about what it means to go to war and how carrying the experience of that war has affected the last 50 years of his life.
Ben served in Vietnam as a helicopter mechanic and door gunner on numerous medivac and other missions.
