Can I just come watch sometime?
Where is the Warrior StoryField going to be?
One day, we hope to place the Dragon and Phoenix in a large park to form a community gathering place called the Warrior Storyfield. In that park we hope to see thousands of veterans and civilians, coming together to listen to and share our stories of war. We have a long way to go before we build that community park. Please follow along with us as we move steadily toward that goal. Your donations will help us to create this park.
Is this a nonprofit?
The Warrior StoryField is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. All donations are tax deductible. 100% of all donations will be used for purchase of steel, scrap iron, welding supplies, safety equipment and other expenses directly involved with the creation of the Warrior StoryField.
Is there a cost to participate?
No.
What’s the meaning of the Dragon and Phoenix?
As we go deeper and deeper into the process of building these powerful creatures we have come to know that their meaning lies totally in the eyes of the beholder. The power of these sculptures to evoke emotion is an ongoing discovery. You can see some of our thoughts here. The important question is: What do the Dragon and the Phoenix represent to you?
When will the Warrior StoryField be finished?
We are working in soul time not toward a deadline. Our commitment is to savor the conversations, the friendships, the wonderings, the goof-ups and the laughter, every step along way. We’ve been on this creative adventure since 2013 and every piece we weld onto the sculptures spurs our excitement to see them completed.
How can I help?
We are a grass roots team hoping to grow a big dream. As we grow there will be many ways to help. We always need donations of time, money and materials.
